Shanghai trip
上海:
黃浦江南北流經上海, 舊區位於西岸, 浦東是新興商業區, 馬路寬廣, 高樓林立, 地價亦飛漲.
上海磁浮: 機場到浦東龍陽站, 有機票40RMB, 沒有50RMB.
上海地鐵現有六線,票價位於3-6RMB, 重要景點位於南京西路站人民廣場.
(A) GPS map
中國製圖公司來源為四维图新导航信息公司. 道道通(瑞圖萬方)是另一家專門整合地圖到GPS的公司, 道道通規模較大,已有數種產品整合上市. 帶路通(百豐電子)和路拓是規模較小的圖資公司,其內容一來自四維與navteq. Google有專為中國製作之地圖(ditu.google.com).
(B) 機器人
中國機器人目前與台灣情況類似, 主要是學術界發展.
北京科技大學王志良開發出步行機器人, 目前機械系與訊息系合作, http://www.aprobot.com/. 系統用單晶片控制 (8051?).
(C) VOIP:
Vavaa佈建VOIP,已有數10萬用戶. 目前亦開發Dual mode phone.

svn hosting
Dreamhost provides extra svn hosting. Price: $8 for 2 yr and $10 for 1 yr. With a promoting code MDDR, the first year can get $97 off. The price becomes $2.5/mo.
Lunarpages: $7 /the 1st yr. $8 for the 2nd yr.
The better hosting location seems to be dreamhost for 2 yr.
A professional svn host has a tracking system. But that seems not so important since trac is written in python and can be uploaded into the host.
csoft (http://www.csoft.net/index.html.en) has a shared host plan for $5/mo. It comes with a svn account. So csoft seems a kill for the hosting plan!
